OUR STORY
Supply The Best Organic Honey Since 1945
Started by Theodore Latty, the son of a bookkeeper from Schotland that occupied the valleys of Clarendon in Jamaica. Honey “drawing” in local Jamaica terms, was a myth. A daring feat, to be performed. Theodore brought the love to rear bees and draw honey. It was his grandsons that later wanted to supply the villages and surrounding with locally produced honey that had the finest quality and healing properties boast by many – and the grandsons went on to commercials the concept. Today Jamaica bees Group of companies is a vertically aligned company that seeks to stay true to the people, and the environment of the bees.
OUR Farm
Natural. Sustainable.
Permaculture techniques are applied to all systems. We try to maintain our apiaries in remote locations that are natural and selective to our bee population – and our bees love this. Our farm sites are hand-picked in the Caribbean. It is essential that honey bees are in the ideal climate, close to a clean water source, free from human activities (pesticide-free, etc) that may harm their lives. This allows our honey bees to produce the highest quality products (honey, pollen, wax, Apitoxin) of their socialization.
